You shouldn't be using a Cracked game.

You will need to run a "degrader" before you can run SOTB on your A1200.

holding down two mousebuttons when you turn it on will allow you to switched to the "Original Chipset", and you can also disable the CPU caches too.

@kvasarnomad
Talking about cracked games and other illegal stuff on this site will NOT make you any new friends. Just a friendly advise;)
About Shadow of the Beast though... It is highly optimised for the older Amigas, the A500 in particular. The A600 is quite similar to the A500 so it would probably work there.

You will never get it to run on the A1200, I believe. A kickstart disk will certainly get you nowhere. Maybe, maybe.. if you're lucky there is some type of degrader software that could make it run. Such software could probably be found on Aminet.

@kvas
Well thats harsh on you;) But cracked games are a taboo on this site because a lot of people on here are themselves software developers and don't like the thought of someone stealing their work. Also we are all on this site to bring the Amiga back into the limelight, not to kill it off completely by stealing from those few dedicated developers left.
As you can see youre skating on thin ice with this type of topic...
But since your'e a fan of the Amiga line of computers also you can surely appreciate that. Just understand the above and you'll be ok;) Otherwise people on here are all very friendly and helpful.

and from now on you wont hear the c***k word from me again :roll:

are there any places where you can buy original games?

@kvasarnomad

Don't worry about it being a cracked game..........I believe it is freely distributable now on Back2TheRoots....so download it there and then install it with WHDLoad! I have all Shadow of the Beast series and they work excellent on my A1000, A500, A600, A1200, CD32, A4000..........with no problems whatsoever.
But I will say it again.........GET WHDLoad!! and all or most of yur compatibility problems with older games is over!

WHDLoad
WHDLoad
WHDLoad............just get the darn thing!
CD32 is actually the best Amiga ever made by Commodore!...
