Looking for graphist
« on: June 07, 2014, 05:43:28 PM »
Hello, I'm French and a former Amiga user,

Visual 917, a young designer (13 years) has embarked on a mod for the game Game Dev Tycoon.

http://www.greenheartgames.com/app/game-dev-tycoon/

In the game, Commodore exist (Govodore) but only with the C64 (G64). After that, there is bankruptcy. Commodore disappearing from play until our days.

The purpose of the mod is not only to add the Amiga, but also to return Commodore after bankruptcy. Bought by Commodore England in 1995. Then Commodore released  platforms until the end of the game (2012 or 2022 according to player choice).

The first version of the mod:

I offered my help to Visual917, because it is not knew very well the story of Commodore. I wrote him the notifications of the game and created a "parallel" history of Commodore, with platforms until 2022.

Sorry for the PPC fans, they are all based on the PA-RISC family and Hombre at first. Commodore England said that it was the path they wanted to follow and that is what i took.

Mod page:

However, none of us is a graphic artist. I had the idea to ask on an Amiga forum, if one or more graphic artists wanted help create graphics for one or more mod platforms.

This ranges from computer, console, handheld console, tablets, and smartphones. The latter being a kind of virtual reality console (omni virtuix inspired).

I try to make Commodore as innovative as it was at his early history.

Thanx for reading.

@ Danbeaver

I'm sorry, this is the "getting hit on the head" room.

If you are looking for a graphic artist I can recommend a very good one to you. He created the original Amiga.org logos (several variations) and generates all the artwork for A-EON Technology.

PM me if you would like me to make contact for you.

I would like to get in contact with him to get someone to help me design a kickass Amiga retro inspired image, ive been wanting to do a retro amiga/gaming influenced tattoo for ages but don't have the art skills to pull it of on my own :/

You could ask him if such a project would be anything he could be interested to help with?
