Man, I'm glad my A1000 is chugging along fine. I have seen a few A1000's on ebay where the asking price is $1000.00 and up (for stock 512K Amigas). But then I just saw a new Epyx Fast Load cartridge for $499.00
Must be something in the water......
A2000 GVP 40MHz \'030, 21Mb RAM SD/FF, 2 floppies, internal CD-ROM drive, micromys v3 w/laser mouse
A1000 Microbotics Starboard II w/2Mb 1080, & external floppy (AIRdrive)
C-128 w/1571, 1750, & Final Cartridge III+

Is it just me, or have Amiga 1000 prices really gone up over the last few months?  This buffoon notwithstanding (he keeps RAISING the price and has to be trolling), what seemed to be a $200 purchase for a model in good shape a year or two ago seems to a $500-$1000 purchase for a machine in good condition.  What gives?

I have an A1000. I wonder if I hold it long enough if it will be worth One Million Dollars!
I think, Therefore - Amiga....

Don't you think you should ask for than a million dollars? A  million dollars isn't exactly a lot of money these days. shoppartsandlaborgroup alone  makes over 9 billion dollars a year!

The last A1000 sold for $230 or so; a tad low, but reasonable -- I would have guessed 250 to 300 USD.
