Does anyone know if this card has a limitations for hard drive size? I need a new hard drive, but there is no "small" drives availlable now. smalest I could get is 18gb.

"limitations" are an understatement with this card. I doubt it will work with a drive bigger than a few hundred megabytes, if it works at all.  Not my favorite controller, that one What do you need?  I have a few small old working drives if you get stuck send a PM.

make sure it has the latest ROM, AMAB6.  Works with larger drives, but typically you are limited to 4GB unless you use Amiga OS 3.5+ or patches to the file system.  Use google for more info.  I also have this latest ROM for sale if you are interested.

Thanks I have two of them one has a AMAB6 and other has a AMAB5

I just fondering, can I use my GVP hd8+ hard drive with it? Will it boot from it? It would make a workbenc installation bit easier. I would connect two hard drives to it and copy workbenc files from one to another.
