English version:

Yep, works here now too.

So is that painting of Biro or one of the cast from Revenge of the Nerds?! :)

If I get lucky, maybe I can win the consolation prize at a Woody Allen lookalike contest

You go girl!!! :)

BTW: Woody's old books are hilarious! Some of the BEST dry humour I have ever read in my life!

Thanks for the tip! I've been wondering if they are any good, since I really liked his stand up acts. I'm going to pick up his short story collections when I get the dough from the bounty :)

WOW, I have never seen Woody Allen stand up, I have a ton of his old movies, but no stand up. That I will have to find.

Also if you like dry stand up (which I only presume Woody is), you may also enjoy Bob Newhart's old stand up. His TV show was LAME, but his stand up on the other hand...
...genious!!!

Lastly, don't forget to go through Hal Ashby's 70's films. As I said before, if you loved "Being There" I thin you'll dig his other works as well. :)

I've seen The Last Detail since, it was great!
Here are a few available recordings of Woody's stand up acts, all from the 60s:

I must confess to liking some of Woody Allen's stuff too.
I feel like I shouldnt 'cos even rumors aside he has a creepy air about him, but I cant help it :)
Near as I can tell this is where I write something under the guise of being innocuous, but really its a pot shot at another persons/peoples choice of Amiga based systems. Unfortunately only I cant see how transparent and petty it makes me look.

I heard something about him having relations with his 12 year old neice...

...but me being me, I've a hard time not peering into the abyss, and I recall all those insiders that I've heard speak on such issues, and according to them, things such as pedofilia run rampent in Hollywood "Holly would if she could if you know what I mean".

There was the Cory Feldman interviews...

The various tracks from Keith Thornton aka Kool Keith aka Dr. Octagon, etc. That made him very unpopular in the "bizness".

The various stand up acts of Cat Williams, which like him or not, did not pull any punches and like Mr. Thornton, made him a very unpopular man in the bizness. And if I do recall correctly, they with their puppets the media, made sure to demonize his entire life shortly after.

And let's not forget R. Kelly who repeatedly got caught having sex with or peeing on little girls after the show, and yet, even after his third time getting exposed (who knows how often he's really been caught or done it), went on to do the National Anthem for Desert Storm, the track "I Believe I Can Fly" and the world forgave him over night.

No sir, I don't think there are many in Hollywood or the world of entertainment in general who do not live seedy little lives, and often times we forget that they are someone behind the mask, and just begin to accept them as the characters we know and love on the big screen or what have you.

That being said, I guess we all have our vices, though some people's vices are lower than low, none the less, be that as it may, I still find Woody's old material utterly irrisistible, and find some contentment at least in the fact that he's not promoting his personal vices in his work, at least none that I've seen or watched anyhow...

...contrary to the vagina monologues (revision 5 and back), which...

...well I'm getting off topic here, and the details are pretty disgusting. So strange that women across that world use those plays as a message of female "empowerment". What ever happened to happy, healthy, loving relationships and families that tried to protect children from the grotesque imaginings of some of our so called "adults".

 Sighh...

Well anyhow, I need to stop thinking about this crap, continue my life trying to be the light, and in the mean time, kick back and enjoy those Woody Allen stand up videos!!! :)
