Good Lord am I sick of the modern "pointlessly ambiguous teasing" method of marketing. Just tell us already!

if anything its more likely to make the announcement less appealing as the build up will no doubt not live up to the product. Like all that fuss over that fing joystick

Heh.  That's a wix.com site.  Seems a bit of overkill for a simple counter site :)

What is it with these Amiga folks?
They only seem to understand teasing as an awesome marketing campaign?
Have they lost their mind?
Are we still in kindergarden?
Is this for real?

Oh, crap...

We live in the Age of the Perpetual Hype Machine. Doesn't matter what it is, what it does, who wants it, or whether they wouldn't get just as stoked or more if you just plain told them what it was, you have to build up The Hype, or the Marketing Gods will be angry!

Yeah it´s true.

BTW, Do you remember the pittiful "The Power X" teaser, or something alike. That was a real shame.

It's time saving for me, the site just has a countdown on it & I closed it within seconds. If they had announced something then I'd have spent far more time reading it and maybe trying it.

You are probably thinking that when the time comes then I'll still spend the time anyway. But no, that won't be a problem. I never need go to that again.

I fast forward through bad attempts at building tension in movies and tv programs too.
