Submit to amiga.resource.cx or BBOAH?
« on: May 06, 2014, 06:31:50 PM »
Hi!

Does anyone know how to submit an item to either amiga.resource.cx website or BBOAH?  I was unable to find a digital copy of the Picasso II manual anywhere online, so I scanned, straightened, and OCR'd my original copy and made it into a PDF.  Took quite a bit of time and I'd like my work to be available to other users.  Tried emailing it to the addresses listed on both sites but they both bounced back.  Any ideas?  :)

Thanks!

Forget about amiga.resource, you wont have any answer at all.
The guy in charge of BBOAH was receiving updates for a while, but suddenly started ignoring some submissions.

My advice, submit it to http://amiga-manuals.npage.de , if it is not already there, they will take good care of your submission and will put it online in no time. It is a valuable site with lots of publicly available manuals for all sorts of Amiga hardware and software.

There's also the FTP server & the Zone at EAB - I'm sure those guys would be happy to host it for you.

It's a shame that we've lost contact with Amiga.resource.cx - it was always the first place I checked for hardware info, disks, etc with BBoAH coming a reluctant second (.cx had a much nicer browse/search interface, more consistent layout and information, and a nicer overall look imho - although things might have changed since).
Mac Mini G4 (1.5GHz, 64MB VRam, 1GB Ram): MorphOS 3.6
Powerbook 5.8 (15", 1.67GHz, 128MB VRam, 1GB Ram): MorphOS 3.8.

Thanks!  I'd never heard of those sites.  Looks like they already have it.  But my version is better, lol.  ;)

The guy maintaining BBOAH might be back in business again?

Could be worth a try to contact him again.
