Keyboard problem ?
« on: May 04, 2014, 01:15:28 PM »
I have a Amiga 1200 NTSC, with 3.1 kickstart , and a 4gb cf card.

After several attempts to reseat the ACA1232 card, the amiga boots up .

But I seem to have a loose keyboard cable because some keyboard keys don't work. I want to type 'CPU' to test my card. The 'c' does not work, but 'p' does etc.

This article talks about surgery on the MOBO to fix it : http://eab.abime.net/showthread.php?p=597612

Any suggestions?
Thanks,Peter

Actually, that article seems to be talking about surgery to the ribbon cable for the keyboard, not the MOBO.  I've read that and there is some good advice for repairing the ribbon cable there..

Also, the subject of this message might not get you as much help, as the problem doesn't seem to be related to the ACA..
