(Shingles is the adult new and improved edition of chicken pox)

There's a nightclub called Shingles on Merseybeat. Funnily enough, there's also a club called the Asthma.

How to avoid shingles?

Don't get chickenpox as a kid.

If you do, try to avoid stress in adulthood.

Shingles waits around for years, waiting 'til you're a little down, before it strikes. It got me as I was digging in the garden. I'd been under the weather for days and I had also rowed with my wife (which really floored me). Anyway, it struck right then. I thought I'd been shot in the back.

Shingles....who needs it!

I had the pox :-o (Chicken pox that is ;-) ) when I was a kid, so It's always at the back of my mind that I could be fataly struck down with Shingles and second!
