"Future"? Well, they still work, and provided you take care of them they should continue to work. They are not in production any more.

There are no expansions for it since A) It was not designed to be expanded, and B) There were very few made.

As there is a clockport on the Access as well, you could do some minimum expansions through that,. but I haven't tested yet how compatibel it is to an original A1200 Clockport.
Not really interesting, but it`s there.

I could see an idea with installing it in my A1200T and connect it to my TV-Card... i COULD really see the advatanges of that...in fact, i'm going to see if i can buy one!

Wasn't there an italian company making a smaller batch last year?
Cheers,
Povl

Italian batch ?? Dunno, but if I can lay my hands on one then I shall surely try to connect a clockport device to it to see how far it is compatible and what you can do with it !!!

Povl : out of pure respect for who you are and what you have done for this community I am gonna let you try to win this bidding without me. I guess I've already got enough of hardware (not true) and I also need money to buy me an A4000 tower ... so dude, try to get that Access !!! It's over 101 euro now already and I just stopped bidding !!!

PS : my Ebay handle is DiscoVmax

Effy: thanks, but I don't think i deserve that...

But if the entire Amiga community behaved like this, and didn't spend money on competing against eachother, we would really be better off.

...and that was the moral preach of today...

156 euro for PedGaard. Congratulations Povl !!! My bidding was stopped at 85,01 but I see that Methanoid really tried to beat ya to it :) I have seen in the feedback of that dude that he likes Atari a lot but also special Amiga stuff ... so I guess you have done your very best :)

Already talked to methanoid, he's a nice chap. We had quite a fight over it didn't we, but it was a fair one :)

Now it's time to look for a proper network card for it, and an isa 90 degree riser card as it has to fit in tight space!

As for the isa slot, do the same drivers for isa cards in Zorro busboards apply for this Access with isa slot ???

but i've heard that an Accton ISA card might work...
