Poseidon and USB MOUSE (input.device?)
« on: February 12, 2004, 06:53:06 PM »
i have a weird problem here, just went and bought a new mouse and its cool and all :)

(optic 5 button mouse)

anyway problems:

ibrowse wont SCROLL with scrollbuttons , Button 1 doesnt work as it should on links, it just colors it (doesnt activate and start loading link i click)

it scrolls fine in AMIRC , both up and down and reverse (2nd scroll wheel).

button 1,2,3 works also fine in amirc, 4 and 5 seems disabled (probably not added in the driver)

i am using this in os3,9 with poseidon.

help?

ps:yes i am regged so its not a regged or not question.

please RTFM (read the fine ;) manual) :-} Especially about the HID class (this will help you to set up the other mouse buttons according to your needs) and the requirement to install MUIWheelPatch under AmigaOS (not required for MorphOS).

PS: Pressing the HELP key in the Trident GUI and/or the class prefs GUI will normally load up the specific page of the manual.

Guys, please avoid phrases like "RTFM", they're not nice.  Joking about it is fine :-)

It is used typically in a very elitist way, as well as "noob".  Something to be avoided :-)
