Yeah, was an AROS bounty a few years ago to release sources under APL for $5000, which was met.
Its not as simple as a recompile though, especially for amithlon.
Near as I can tell this is where I write something under the guise of being innocuous, but really its a pot shot at another persons/peoples choice of Amiga based systems. Unfortunately only I cant see how transparent and petty it makes me look.

Yes, the regular version (4.4 was the latest as I recall) works on 68k Amiga's (although I have a lot of problems with it and my Thylacine, I know it works successfully for many other users).

Weird, it appears Chris Hodges' website has now gone offline. Previously you could download Poseidon and many of his other programs there. Now it just says "watch this space". Anyone have any ideas?

I really get annoyed at this sort of thing. This is why stuff should be uploaded to Aminet. Hope these utilities aren't lost forever! :(

For Amithlon you probably need this as well: http://aminet.net/driver/other/ArakAttack.lha

Did you install poseidon 4.4 and the ArakAttack driver?

Yes you would. You would have to manually select Arakattack as your driver of choice within the Amithlon environment, though thus far I'm having trouble getting anything to detect, plus I broke keyboard support in the process so I'll have to go back and see where I went wrong.

Sorry for Hijacking, but even before registering or activating, where can I download poseidon 4.4?

Hi there Akiko.

I've totally missed this Poseidon 4.4 event...
It's not in the zone anymore. :(

Would you kindly e-mail it to me too? :nervous:

I've got links to the files Poseidon 3.8, 4.4 and ArakAttack) and a write up (install guide) for Poseidon on Amithlon.

http://amithlon.snkbitten.com/

You can actually install Poseidon 3.8 and ArakAttack, and if it works for you on your motherboard, install Poseidon 4.4 on top and you don't need a registration key.
