Solid Gold new Amiga game
« on: November 21, 2013, 12:25:15 PM »
Solid Gold is a new Amiga game for Classic soon to be released for OCS machines with extra ram. Looks good for a free game, the source will also be released (68k asm). There could even be a boxed version in the making.

It's free, though there's been some talk of maybe offering boxed copies to those who want them. The thread over at EAB has more info.

Synthesizers: Roland JX-10/MT-32/D-10, Oberheim Matrix-6, Yamaha DX7/FB-01, Korg MS-20 Mini, Ensoniq Mirage/SQ-80, Sequential Circuits Prophet-600, Hohner String Performer

Here what I will do. When it is released for free version I will get it immediately and when there is a boxed version I will buy that to support the author to make more games. If he makes another game I will repeat process...to entice him to make more games and constantly repeat. If we all support new developers making money by making new Amiga games perhaps we will be seeing new titles finally :D

I have just one question to ask....is this game region restrictive? Meaning would it work on Western Amiga's or it require European Amiga's?

That's only for DVD's, LOL.  You mean does it run in PAL or NTSC?  Since most Amiga's are switchable this shouldn't matter, unless you're using some old kind of TV for a display.  :juggler:

An Amiga centric game, how sweet. Looks really nice and like...

...and action adventure?! Great, right up my alley!

Ever wonder what jerk deemed him self so important that he thought himself to be the center of the world, between "east" and "west"? :)
