Hi:
I've made an unofficial plug-in for those who want an rtg version of AmiKit Real.
If you want to run AmiKit Real with Rtg on WinUAE (it's supossed to work for real too) you can do as I've just done, using WinUAE 2.7.0 beta (it won't work with the former) with Piccolo SD64. The WinUAE version 2700b9 works fine:
http://eab.abime.net/showpost.php?p=917533&postcount=206. Edit: Also the b10 and all the ones from here on I hope
This way: 1- Starting with the 04 version with the 1.6.6 Live update downloaded open MorpheuZ, Preferences and select the CPU to use 060. Don't reboot yet.
2- Edit the s-s and comment the booting image (;BootScreen), the booting song (;Run >NIL: C:Play16....) -you'll be rebooting a couple of times, so better to disable them- and Birdie to have more chip free (;Run >NIL: SYS:Utilities/Expansion/Birdie/Birdie). Comment also ;C:LoadMondrvs .
3- Install
Picasso96 4- Later WinUAE will tell you have to install a more recent rtg.library. You can find it if you download from the WinUAE web the 2.6.1 zip archive, inside "Amiga Programs".
http://www.winuae.net/ . The library goes inside AmiKit:Libs/Picasso96.
5- Disable CyberbugFixAga: Go to AmiKit:Games/ScummVM/DisableCyberbugFixAga (on my 05 update it will disable Birdie on the same script and will be on Tools instead). It will automatically reboot.
6- Press F12 and change WinUAE to use CPU 68060 CPU internal, and on Expansions, select as RTG Graphic Card a Piccolo SD64 Zorro II.
7- Run the prefs of Picasso96 (I've installed them on AmiKit/Prefs), select a monitor mode (test it first), right click on the left column your Picasso config and select "Attach mode" (I am using 24bits 800x600).
8- Reboot and now go to Prefs/Screen Mode, and choose the Piccolo screen mode you want. Test it.
9- Edit again the s-s and enable (uncomment) Birdie, booting song and booting image. Leave ;C:LoadMondrvs commented as you left it.
10- Change the font of the icons inside the windows (if you install my plugin you don't have to if using Magellan): Right click on screen, Settings, Environment, Icon Display, Windows, to Courier 13. With Workbench change it on Prefs, Fonts, and you also can make a right click on the icons you don't need on screen and put them away.
Sometimes appear two Trashcan icons. One of them can be put away: do so and move the other where you want and snapshot it.
Also sometimes after an update there is no Trashcan at all. Make a right click on screen and select icons, reset and it will appear. Move and snapshot it.
11- This is optional (and Not necessary at all with my plugin), and better make it on Windows or with Dopus : Copy from AmiKit for Pc AmiKit:Prefs/Presets/AmiKit/MorpheuZ/BlackChrome/VisualPrefs/SBarLogo to the "Classic Theme" you are using (or all). For Black&Blue, you have to copy it to AmiKit:Prefs/Presets/AmiKit/MorpheuZ/Black&Blue/VisualPrefs/, and the same with AmiKit:Prefs/Presets/AmiKit/MorpheuZ/BlackChrome/VisualPrefs-2/SBarLogo, to your Black&Blue one.
12- The images are remapped to 16 colors, so if you want to see more colors with some programs you can take AmiKit for PC and save the programs over your existing ones, and the Logo while booting is on AmiKit:Prefs/Presets/AmiKit Logo/AmiKit.png that you can change with the PC version (if you use my plug-in and you have already updated to 1.6.6 before running it you don't have to). You can use some of the Wallpapers for 256 colors.
Let it time to open all the programs when booting: AmiStart will be the last, and it takes it's time.
Installing my plug-in it will look like this:

I have to say that the programs it installs are all inspired by James' Workbench, so my greatest thanks to him. Of course they have some improvements on my side too. The small icons you see over AmiStart will move up fast spinning and growing while you pass your pointer over them like in a Mac. They use alpha channel.
The installer can be installed either on AmiKit for Pc -the original-, on a real Amiga with RTG or using the steps I've written to use AmiKit Real with Piccolo64 under WinUAE 2.7.0 . The installer will ask you in what config are you installing it (AmiKit PC Vs AmiKit Real WinUAE/RTG), as the configs are different.
As I've said if you use SkinnableClock on a real HD, you can't use PFS3. If you wait for my update 05 there will be a version by Thomas that works perfect.
Download the installer from here:
http://rapidshare.com/share/86BEBC3DCA6F74C6503F9F636C11D02EUnzip it (windows is ok), open your AmiKit version with the installer stored somewhere and click on "Install".
Ah! I forgot to say that my installer will change the Clock face when you change the Environment with MorpheuZ.
If you are using the plug-in with the AmiKit for Pc installed using the Cd of AmigaForever, it hasn't got AmiDock installed (it only has it's icon), as it is part of OS3.9. If you want AmiDock there -you should- you should copy it from your OS3.9 to your WBStartup, and the icon from your WBStartup/Disabled.
Remember this is an absolutely unofficial plug-in, so install it under your own risk and don't ask for support for the official AmiKit for PC, as it won't have any. You have been warned.
Here you've got a WinUAE config as example:
