What TCP/IP stack for wireless Internet

Hi what is the best wireless  TCP/IP stack for my Amiga 1200 ,I cant get Easynet to work ,so I would like to try some thing else to see if I can have more luck ,Brian.

The best TCP/IP stack for 68k is Roadshow.   The wireless driver is the same no matter what stack you use,  Neil Cafferkey's Prism device

 Hi I already  have the roadshow  which is brilliant but I want to use my Amiga on wireless as I have a wireless card ,I did not think I could use Roadshow for wireless .

The TCP/IP stack is irrelevant. Just configure Roadshow (or any other stack) to use prism2.device instead of whatever you're currently using and that's it. The prism driver has its own method of configuration for selecting a wireless network and password - I'm sure it's explained in the docs.

What made you decide to stick with MiamiDX instead of eg. Roadshow? I had MiamiDX and it worked well but Roadshow is just faster and easier to use. Well worth the investment

Plus it's still maintained, and IMHO worth supporting for that reason alone!

Every TCP/IP stack is just fine and works without issues.
- Roadshow is a fast and maintained stack (but I haven't tried yet to say comments)
- MiamiDx is easy enough and works out of the box.
- AmiTCP is just fine and works awesomely well (and can be equal or even better than Roadshow if configured correctly with cache etc). Also it's still maintained by AmigaKit who bought the licences for EasyNet.

I'm using MiamiDx in everyday bases, and also bought EasyNet some weeks ago to support AmigaKit for their effort.

I've heard what you are saying Marios about AmiTCP configured with another cache being faster (it was Jens that said that), but has anybody tried that or who is going to make that, Amigakit?

I know what you mean, but what I like of RoadShow appart of the speed is that it starts from booting, so you don't have to click on any icon or nothing, against Miami or Genesis. So if for example you have from WBStartup a program to search for an online update like AmiKit does, RoadShow is the only one that will make that.

But yes, Genesis or Miami are easier to configure.

Thank you for your input ,but after trying night after night
for weeks to get Easynet to work with my tethered Samsung Gallaxy 4 ,I have decided to go back on line with Talk Talk  and go back to my trusted Roadshow and to enjoy every thing that it has to offer ,
Amigakit to there credit gave me loads of help and to this day I don't know why Easynet would not work ,every thing in Easynet said it was set up right and that it was indeed on line this sadly was not the case and regretfully I had to turn back to Roadshow  which hopefully will be working next Thursday when my internet is back on ,its a shame really because my normal pc ran beautifully  whilst tethered to my sam 4 but not my Amiga 1200 .any way win some loose some Brian.

Huh? Every stack can be started in boot. I've had Genesis for years to go online in the background so that I can't see anything of it.
