Hi why does Not Initialized come  up when I put certain cd discs in my Amiga 1200 and is there away to alter them,best wishes Brian

Can you give more details?  What discs are you trying to use?  Is this commercial software, discs you've burned yourself, or something else?  You might also want to mention what version of the OS you're running, and how you have the CD drive interfaced to your A1200.  ;)

oops its a cd reader I have installed on my Amiga and a DVD disc with loads of stuff on I was expecting the Amiga to read ,thanks for the link ,Brian.

Ha, yeah, a CD drive is not going to be able to read a DVD disc.  That'll do it!  ;)

    I have a 4xEIDE'99 Buffered Interface (with Allegro CDFS),but only have a cd r/w player installed in my Amiga 1200 and I was using a DVD disc will loads of Amiga stuff on it ,which is probably why the Amiga wont read it ,my mistake but thanks ,Brian
