I meant "boot up fine" from floppy. Only one Starboard has the Stardrive SCSI module. The other has mo module.

Did you perform the grounding mod to your A1000?  You must do this.  

The symptoms of needing to do this mod are when attaching more than one device to the Zorro slot, things are not working right!
