Nice work.  It certainly looks like the Walker.  Bloody hideous design IMHO, but totally unique.  :)

What have you put inside it?

I'd stick in an FPGA ARCADE board and make it a decent computer :D

The ability to run Amiga programs, games and demos natively, with a small fraction of the power used by a Core2Duo machine.

Nice to see someone using a Keyrah.  :)

I guess you could also hack up a real wedge Amiga (A dead one of course) and make a matching keyboard to go with it.  I stuck my Keyrah in an empty A1200 case I had left over after moving the motherboard into an Elbox tower.

actually i made a black A1200 with a laptop mobo inside, i took it to the show in Blackpool a couple of years ago, no one knew it was a PC till they were told.

it looked like an Amiga and felt like an Amiga :)

there is a link to it here

Well done.  If you ever decide to sell copies of your creation I would be interested.   I'd probably put a core i7 in it though..

Personally I always did like the walker casing.

hmmmm good question, i suppose the cost could be worked out, time to scare myself

design, machining, welding and cutting time, very approx - 25 to 30 hours, going rate about £45 an hour so £1350 ish.

Material - ali sheet, 2 x ali panels and 4 x ali blocks for the feet - £100

Filling, shaping and painting - £80

PC mobo, memory, hard drive, dvd drive, usb car reader, keyrah, keybaord and mouse - £110 ish

very approx total - £1640

glad i didn't need to pay some one else for all that lol  :)
