just thought i might put  this program on my cd32 with sx1 ...ran into a interesting problem  ..the way you install on a a1200  works  ..but on a cd32  it fails  ..i think because  the cdrom  boots first with the kickstart in rom ..
so the harddrive  doesnt boot an install like a 1200 harddrive ..anyone else found  this ??

I don't know about that but I always prep my drives through WinUAE, not on real Amiga hardware. I just find it quicker and simpler for me. Simpler for me though because I have hard drive connections on the front of my tower, so I don't have to take the side off of my computer or anything.

Do you have enough RAM for the AmigaSYS4aga?

CD32 with a SX-1 will try booting from HDD if there is no CD inserted (and the SX-1 itself is not disabled from the switch on the rear). I have a Workbench 3.1 installed into a compact flash- hard disk in my SX-1.

One thing I have noticed is that if there is no floppy disk drive connected, it will complain about missing DF0 when booting.

The connector block between CD32 and the SX-1 is also very often having a bad connection and this has crashed my system several times. Cleaning the connectors is definetively a good idea.

actually  cant  get the sx1  to recognize  any drive  now...probably is the connector..
always a bit iffy ..with the fmv card an the sx1 card adding a floppy often crashes  it..probably power ..i really only  use it for vcds  anyway ...on the plus side i put a few a1200 bits together an got a working 2nd 1200 ..dunno how stable ..the accel  wouldnt work b4 ..now it does weird..put a 2.5inch h/d not a compact flash card this time ..wish my ppc card would boot...though i left it on while having dinner ..the 1200 just turned on to blank screen ..no kickstart screen etc ..an the 2 cpus  got  way hot..maybe hope yet !!
