Helpful links when setting up a new amiga system.

I am setting up a new os3.x setup in winuae. When finished,  this setup will be copied to all my machines.

This is very helpful for quickly setting up tons of games, demos and so on.

Can everyone post other links full of collections of software or other stuff like this? I would appreciate it, and we'd all benefit.

Looking for collections of applications, graphics, 3d, raytracing, music software and so on.

And yes I know you can go to aminet but i was hopeing someone did some bundled collections so I don't have to spend hours installing apps one by one.

PM me your email address and I'll give you access to several GB of Amiga stuff I have stored on MEGA.

Do you want obvious stuff like BetterWB?  After that, the best I could do is point out some of my favorite individual apps and files.

Compilations, recommended software, and essential instructions (like moving software from modern PCs to unexpanded A500s OR modifying Sega controllers OR lists of serial networked games) have been done before.  They always remain as threads in the forums, buried deeper and deeper, hard to find and eventually forgotten.

It would probably be too much work, but if it were easy, a "Lessons Learned" or "Recommended Additions to the OS" section would be a great resource on this site.

OTOH, this idea was probably implemented a long time ago and I've simply been too self-absorbed to notice it.  ;)

I'm using 3.9 not 3.1, so I think I'll pass on this, but thanks, and thanks for the pm!
