Well, after humming and harring over wether it's worth the asking price.
Seems over the top for me I finally decided to purchase Roadshow.
Paid, and the next day received the download link. One thing I noticed is you get to download it 5 times, and that there is a short expiry on the link.
Always scares me a little with digital downloads like that. So have backed it up.
Had a scare recently with my whdload key I purchased and they couldn't find my email and purchase of it. But in the end managed to find my whdload.key! Another thing to back up :-(
Anyway roadshow, it's the fastest connection I've had to the internet via an Amiga. Plus no dropping out like other stacks.
Configuring it seemed daunting at first but a mediator config file had been provided.
So ran the install and dragged over the mediator config file, rebooted and I was on the internet :-)
WHDLoad was easy too, using whdload-cleanup/startup I could easily turn it off and on.
S:network-startup = starts it.
netshutdown = stops it.
Fantastic, easy to install (with the provided config files) and very quick browsing speeds. Just need a decent browser, a shame netsurf locks up on me.
Now if only I could get WHDLoad to work with the Voodoo card I'd be a happy man :-)
