Mediator problems :(
« on: February 04, 2004, 10:02:22 AM »
Hi all,

I'm having a few problems with the meditor a1200 pci.  I plugged my a1200 into my tv to test for display.  This worked fine... I think plugged in the mediator, following instructions in the manual, but after turning the a1200 back on all I get is either a black or green screen on my tv.

I have a Virge video card plugged into slot 1 (with a svga monitor plugged into that) so I can configure it through my tv.  I've tried removing the card and changing slots to no available.

Anyone got any ideas?

Hi,

Thanks for the reply.  I'll elaborate.

The problem is that I cant even get into workbench because the green/black screen appears, immediatly after turning on the a1200, when the mediator is plugged in.

The problem must be some sort of connection somewhere but I'm not sure what to start with.

Thanks,

Lee

I strongly recommend anyone with a Mediator system to join the Mediator Group on Yahoo, where you'll have access to expert advice from Elbox, etc.

Cheers,

Jax

There are jumpers on the mediator. One of them you change for certain accelerators. Have you checked that?
