Wtb: A500
« on: June 24, 2013, 02:46:45 AM »
Hi everyone,
I'm looking to buy a A500 that can be in ok to fair shape as long as it works. Along with a workbench diskette (any version, as long as it matches ks rom) and PSU. Mouse would be nice if present. Monitor not needed. Send me a PM or respond here and I'll contact you by PM. Can use PayPal.

EDIT: I've decided to build a new AROS pc after all, but thank you for offering. So never mind everyone on the A500. Any way I don't know how I would use a PAL machine on my NTSC TV any who.

How much do you want for the PAL A500? Sounds interesting... I've been trying to PM you. It says your PM inbox is full, and you cannot accept any more messages until you clear space. :)

I know you said Monitor not needed.
If that means you have an RGB monitor already  (1084s or ?), then great.  PAL is awesome to have for game compatibility.

If you plan on using an A520 or something similar to get composite or s-video tho, it'll be tricky to find a TV in the US that supports PAL.

Good luck..

Amiga 1200 w/ ACA1230/28 - 4G CF, MAS Player, ext floppy, and 1084S.
Amiga 500 w/ 2M CHIP and 8M FAST RAM, DCTV, AEHD floppy, and 1084S.
Amiga 1000 w/ 4M FAST RAM, DUAL CF hard drives, external floppy.

desiv is right you will need a pal supported monitor but all commodore ones do practically.
