In a word, yes.  You should look to upgrading the SCSI chip too (it never ends, does it?) I think Mechy still carries them... (I can't find the darned link)

Nothing listed under "SCSI chips" on his website right now, shame, I'm almost certain he used to have them.  Maybe try emailing him?

That Commodore Tech Topics thing looks really cool.  Would love to see the archive if you're able to dig up a link!
