Which accelerator has a dude with a lightning bolt on it on the socket side under the main chip ? I can't find markings on mine and don't wanna mess with it or drag out my composite tv just yet.....

That's the Power Computers logo. Probably a Blizzard as that's what they mostly stocked. check through the links here to compare your accelerator.

, maybe? I think PowerComputing branded a few different accelerators; not sure if the Big Book has pictures of all of them.

They did indeed, they used Viper boards amongst others but they favoured DCE (Blizzard, Typhoon).

Yeah it gets confusing with a1200 accels sometimes as certain ones were re-manufactured under diff names in diff parts of the world. Also some of the naming Mk2, etc is confusing.

While fixing my 3000D (new workbench disks), I needed my 1200 running so I took it apart and took the junky Escom floppy out:
It is a Typhoon 1230 MK II guys.
