Antiryad Gx is an unified cross platform and multi core 2d and 3d game engine.
 In development since 1997, Antiryad Gx today rivals and even surpasses many commercial game engines in feature set and stability.

Main features
Complete 2d and 3d graphic engine.
Integrated editor and tools.
Particle, water and volumetric fog effects.
Fast collision system.
Realtime shadows.
Video codec for mobile and desktop systems.
Full game framework.
Network engine.
Modularity, other middlewares like 3d engine, physic, script language or network library can be plugged.
Simplified and documented API completely platform independant.
Supported languages are C, C++ and Gel (embedded fast and simple script).
Develop once for several platforms.
Free with standard license.
Antiryad Gx was used to create more than 35 projects by various companies and organizations.

It is planned to be published for AROS X86/64 in September. A version for 68k is planned (not certain yet)

I hate to be the Negative Nellie here, but... I can't find anywhere on the Arkham site that says they will support AROS. Not even the AROS platform site says that. It just lists information about Antiryad. I could just as easily list on a site that Oracle is gonna support Java on the Amiga, that won't make it so, however.

It's true there was an Amiga version of Antiryad, but that was version 1.3, a long time ago...

You cannot know it because it is a brandnew news and I am in direct contact with the author

Look on the picture at the upper side, there is "AROS" visible

Gotchya... but that image is so small as to be barely noticeable. And it could still be a mock-up...

But, fair enough... I'll wait for an official announcement (or the actual release) before I get too negative again. ;) (Still doesn't hurt to be skeptical, especially in Amigaland...)
