New old stock Amiga 1200+68030+128MB Ram+80 original games.
« on: February 02, 2004, 07:42:04 PM »
I've decided to sell my spare NOS A1200 (original C= unit, mobo revision 1D.3, NTSC). Comes with DKB Cobra 68030 with full 128MB ram. 814MB Toshiba hard disk, 16-bit PCMCIA ethernet, DKB Cobra SCSI-2 controller (Ferret), external SCSI-2 Sony CD-R drive (12x), mouse, OS3.9SE CD, and ~80 original games and most have been installed on the HD through WHDLoad. I've kept the original box and manuals for myself because I need them for my own A1200 system. :-)

For more details and pictures go to:

http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=2785023104

Starts @ $9.99USD, no reserve!

A 1D.3 motherboard?
I never even knew that revision existed!  :-o

You/whoever wins the auction might want to submit that to the Amiga hardware databases...

Too late for me as I don't want to open the case again (it degrades the screw holes every time you do it), but I'll try and see if I may have taken a shot of the motherboard while the unit was opened that one and only time.

one question.... how can it be NOS, when its obvisouly been used and upgraded? when I first read the classified i authorised I assumed you meant all in boxes shrink wrapped as new...

Perhaps saying its NOS is a bit misleading?

Ryu,

I've never seen a shrinkwrapped Amiga, only boxed with a seal that says OPENED if peeled off, the box. Sort of like how PS2 is released nowadays. Anyways, I've had to cut the seal to open the box and to open the case, thus to be able to upgrade system roms to 3.1 version and install a hard drive. I kept the box for myself as I've stated above as I want to have it for my own A1200 unit.

Should I have lableled the AD as 30 minutes opened A1200 unit? How is this different to Redrum's NEW, REFURBISHED, NON-WORKING, A500 posts?

Hey I have 4 NOS 1.3D motherboards here... I dunno if any of them even work! Somebody needs to come put all this stuff together, test it,  and sell it for me.

lol
If I have military spec stuff listed on eBay, you can find it here  :-)
