I think this port is almost ready for release :)

It's not running as fast as I'd hoped after all the work I've done optimizing it, I've still got a little more assembler to add which may help.  It's always hard to get these ports running well on 68k when they are developed for much more powerful hardware (you wouldn't believe how many redundant screen updates are made by default).

If I can find the energy, I will also port Descent DXX-Rebirth 2 to AGA 68k (same basic code base).

Ok, I've stuck it on AmiNet.

The bad news is that I can't get it to run as quick as I'd have hoped for, the render-loop is not really that efficient and it's obviously aimed at higher-end systems.

It's playable on my setup but anything less won't be much fun.

This is now the second application I've ported that uses the new AGA SDL, hopefully we'll see some more soon!

I've had another go and making this beast run faster on AGA 68k.   I've also done a basic RTG release for you big-box boys.

I'll upload the latest version to AmiNet in the next few days...

Nice addon to 68k amigas, it is very playable with 040 40mhz and better machines already. What new this version offer?

And there's the rub, an '040 or an '060 as  the target base?
