ebay a 500 zorro 11 2 slot adaptor question

on ebay there is a zorro 11 2slot adaptor  for the a500 IVS /JB6017

 ..can someone tell me could you attach a graphics card to this ..or is it only for harddrives etc..
interesting bit of hardware ..never  saw one of these before ..

Yes, that provides the second slot. The original Trumpcard kit had a slot connector attached to the pins like in this picture http://bboah.com/download_photos/trumpcard_3_big.jpg.

so really its just  half a harddrive  ..the connector  part ?  ..im only interested if a graphics card  is possible...what if any card would go in such a slot ..except  for the harddrive ..scsi  i guess ..

It should in theory.  IVS used an off the shelf SCSI card and an optional RAM card in the second slot if it had one.

I've seen Picasso II cards run on home brew ZII add on slots, so it should work.

There are multiple plans for them on aminet and they are extremely simple.

Yeah, that's a trumpcard controller. I had one of those for a while. Nice piece of kit. Gives you two Zorro II slots. They ARE actual Zorro II slots. Never tried a graphics card, though, 'cos I never had one, at the time. It's a bit of a power hog, though, so don't expect to use it with the original A500 brick. I had a bigfoot at the time, that I gave a guy for the cost of shipping...... only he never paid for the shipping, cheap @$$hole!
