Question! Are you WiFi or wired? Are you still able to browse the internet with EasyNet if you are in WiFi?

What about OP is he in WiFi or Cabled? I am only asking because I got my WiFi netgear supporting WPA/WPA2 security and patched and updated to the latest and still I cannot login in WiFi.

So I am wondering if he managed to pass through it via EasyNet.

Today I updated my prism2.device to support WPA, it was extremely easy. I just run installer and everything worked.

Ofcourse I had already configured Genesis and it worked without encryption. I used it through my nokia, so that I didn't need to turn off encryption my home network. It is nice to have all comuters same network again :D

I am giving up on my A1200 WiFi too!! But before I seal the deal PERMANENTLY I am going to try one more thing. Genesis. If that fails too then bye-bye WiFi forever!!

I tried going down the wifi route too but it was a pain the rectum, decided to go the wired route instead :)

I have two classic amigas with wifi.

It was easy with Genesis.

1. Genesis doesn't have working DHCP client. So you need to play with static IPs, set them manually.

2. Make it work without encryption first. Just copy PRISM2.device to DEVS folder in your system partition.

With genesis you just need to select prism2.device and set static ip/dns. It will automatically connect first unencrypted wifi, without any other settings, IF you configured it right. If Genesis tells you that you are connected, but can't surf net, you IP/DNS setting are wrong.

PS. Use your phone internet sharing, turn of encryption, so that you don't need to turn of encryption of your home lan. Check what IP your phone gives to your PC and use then as a example.

3. When it works run PRISM2 installer, it will set WPA, ask some questions like SSID and sharedkey. Then change IP and DNS settings with Genesis prefs so that they are right to your LAN

4. Consider to buying Roadshow http://roadshow.apc-tcp.de/index-de.php

You know what? That could be the solution to my problem. Any idea if I can buy an Amiga 68k version of it and where? Thanks.
