Is it that cable that is sold on amigakid your using ?

How do you get 1200x500 on a scart cable on a normal tv
isnt a scart signal limited to pal overscan as max

what have you done to get the extre res here ?

Yes thats the one i got and it works a treat

I was playing around with the screenmodes and the interlaced mode works a treat its like having an RTG in your amiga

well seems like thats a good cable to get hands on

do you run fast blit or something to accelerate the graphics even futher
or does that not have an effect on the performance of the desktop ?

mis: What Amiga you are using? Only AGA amigas can do 1280x512

No, ECS can do it as well. But only in 4 colours and even then it's using alot of the chip ram bandwidth so you probably only want to use 2 colours.
