Welcome to the official Disk2FDI project page!

Disk2FDI is a professional disk imaging software designed to create binary images of floppy disks to the Formatted Disk Image (FDI) file format.

IMHO, this old hack isn't really interesting : you must use 2 PC floppydrives and paid 30 € to unlock the feature of writing FDI files... there's lot of other hard solutions more convenient !

Personally, i keep my Catweasel MK3 card, it's fast and amazing to use ;-P
www.amigaimpact.org the fresh french news for Amiga and Pegasos !

Yeah, http://www.kryoflux.com/ or https://twitter.com/DiscFerret is better than disk2fdi.

Especially for me as my laptop would otherwise have no way of plugging in any floppy drives (or a catweasel for that matter).

There is also ADFRead which uses the same technique as Disk2FDI, but runs on Windows rather than DOS and is free.
