Very true.

MKL over at amibay makes them and as long as you have KS2.05 or higher they are fully bootable - there is also a scsi.device patch for KS1.3 on aminet for those into making their own Roms and want to boot wb1.3 from hdd.
The ide68k does need some mainboard soldering, in the pic I posted of the cap mod you can see two pins sticking up from next to the sidecar edge connector that are required for it to fully emulate a600 "gayle" IDE.
