Amiga Lot / CD 32 / SX-1
« on: February 22, 2013, 10:24:54 AM »
Amiga 1000 (Rough exterior)
front middle memory cover has broken tab
I dissasembled everything as you can see in pics down to the daughterboard, didnt know how to mess with it so stopped there.
I guess all the a1000 cases were etch-signatured in the lid. Nothing special.
Used amiga 1000 for parts or project,
keyboard in horrible condition, missing keys, screws driven through it. (Dont ask)
A1000 tank mouse (bad condition)
Insides very very clean. I went over with a detail brush and took many many pics. I dont see any bulging or busted caps. This was stored dry in a room over the garage in Coastal NC for 10 years.
two sega genesis knockoff controllers. Cord imprint has melted in plastic after many years of storage. I think these have some sort of rapidfire.
All boxes shown for games, All original games included. (Condition unknown)

NTSC Amiga CD32 (Almost mint condition) Bubble wrap on cd clamshell, and amiga label,
Power Supply. (Used and displayed in finished room over garage)

Paravision SX-1 Module, with what looks like 4, maybe 8mb edo ram chip. (Very clean insides and was fully dissasembled and inspected.
Very Very clean pcbs again.  Not used , stored in box from 2009ish)

Amiga CD32 original controller.

All software you see displayed on table, Productivity. Amiga Disks, Games, and PD, Magazine discs, (Varied from AF, CU, and others.

Local Pickup is an option. You can have all the other "backups" if you want them FOC.

Shipping in the US is an option. Will have to work on quote based on weight and packaging.

I make no warranties as to the working condition of these products, They are of course 18-20 years old.

Priority would be to sell the lot to one person. I really do not feel like breaking this stuff up for ebay consumtion.

There is some good sofware titles with boxes included that may be worth some money for someone to sell up.

The entire lot: $625.00

Paypal Gift or add 5% please.

Located in Coastal North Carolina, USA

144 reads, 1 offer,  and no honest opinions of value, comments or otherwise.

I am in the states, (North Carolina) to be more precise.

Coastal NC to be even more accurate.

Well, it's friday night here in Urp, so that might explain the lack of replies. I'm not an expert nor interested, but let's say 250eu for the CD32 + SX1. No idea what that A1000 might do. I'm sure you'll get better appraisals the next 12h ;)

I'm a little confused, perhaps others are as well. Is this an announcement of items on ebay now, or are you expecting offers here and then sell on ebay if no satisfactory offers from here?

Bill T, Its not on ebay. I would certainly prefer to avoid Ebay with an attractive offer.

At this time I am not looking to split up the CD32, SX-1 Combo. I think they look nice together.

After consideration, I would still prefer to sell the lot as whole. There are many boxes for software, original titles and some extras.

Offers above $450 seriously considered.

Thats a CD32 "near mint"
SX-1 "near mint"
An amiga 1000 for a project parts, rehaul
accessories, software etc. As pictured.

Amiga 1000 lot, DONE

Goodbye Amiga, We had a lot of fun together, many lonely friday nights as a teenager and Mr P's pizza, and taco night with my buddies. We played countless hours of supercars, and nitro, and lotus esprit turbo challenge, lemmings and sooo many many more.

I bought my first amiga with lawn mowing money used in the Atlanta GA classifieds. It was one of the coolest things ever. I remember hauling my amiga into our music theory classes in high school. It was very advanced with bars and bipes and deluxe music construction set.

I couldnt never afford a printer, or even the memory expansion, by the time I had a job writing jingles part time for someone running a video production studio with a newtek video toaster, Commodore folded and all the groups got busted  or scared I think they called them "user" groups.  I didnt buy my first PC till 1998 almost. My amiga served me very well. and I still played with it until the monitor went bust I tossed it in a dumpster before moving to NC from VA.

And thats my story and we are now done. I gave the CD32, SX-1 a try but I could never find the time to learn everything over again. Maybe in another 10-12 years, but doubtful I thnk at this point.

Take care everyone.
