Congratulations on entering the AGA age :)

From personal experience, I wouldn't bother thinking about os3.9 on it  until you've got a decent accelerator inside it. Actually, to be completely honest I would stick with 3.1 on an A1200 without RTG.

It emulates WorkBench on the RTG Board at higher resolutions and more colors and often faster than the native chip set.

Better yet, what does that mean in Latin?

Hi,well i am totaly amazed ,i collected the Amiga 1200 late last night ,there were loads of games ,including a Recording studio floppy which is awesome ,a Philips monitor ,which is not working at the moment,it comes on and i can hear the  music but the screen only shows a very thin white line which runs from left to right ,there is a brand new Logic 3 two button white mouse ,and this works really well  but what amazes me most is the qaulity of the graphics and the sound which is sweet ,full of bass and rings like a bell ,outstanding to say the least.

She is running on os 3.0 at the moment ,but ihave orderd 3.1 roms from Amigakit and will install a 4GB c/f drive as soon as the 3.1 roms arrive ,its almost a shame to touch it as i have hundreads of games to play and it seems a lot of the games work ok,
  I
cant help thinking the Amiga 1200 leaves the Amiga 600 in the shadows but also feel i must finnish off what i started with her because she too runs sweet and i have grown acustomed to having her around ,which is the best ? Well the 600 is very responsive and certainly a good looking ,almost proud in your face ,not to be second best or out done ,

But the Amiga 1200 seems to have it all ,Qaulity ,touch of class and would not look out of place taking centre stage for the here i am look ,any way not used her enough yet but time will surely tell ,very best wishes Brian.
