Green ! Dongle
« on: February 02, 2013, 02:28:13 AM »
Hi All,

I bought an amiga 2000HD that came with a Video Toaster card. Was pretty nice but then I noticed that it had a green dongle with a ! on it. I had to switch the motherboard out of it and replaced it with the a PAL one. I took out the Toaster board oh course. Anyway, what program is this dongle for?

Thanks for any help.

I would say that it is a Scala Dongle MM300 or higher..  other programs that had dongles (but not green afaik) are Brilliance, Scala mm200 (red), Mandala, and some others.

Yes, it's for Scala. They made a number of different colored dongles for various versions (blue and yellow ones also exist), but I think magnetic is correct that green corresponds to version MM300.
