there is loads of snow on the mountains about 20 miles from me, maybe its worth the trek!

I'm just back from Glencoe. Two and a half hour drive up there this morning as it was actually snowing in Glasgow when I woke up and it continued all the way there.

Got half a day's snowboarding in and it was fantastic. About three pm the snow stopped and you could see for miles. Rannoch Moor below only had a light dusting but the hills of the glen, rising up from it, were completely white. Truly spectacular and beautiful. Reminds me why I love Scotland so much.

Drive home was only two hours as it wasn't snowing as much.

I also had the most fun I've ever had on a snowboard, as I finally figured out how to use the dsmn thing properly! :-D

All in all, a fantastic day and tonight I'm off to my favourite club again - life is sweet. ;-)

It's been raining here heavily for the past 4 days - with the occasional 30 min break. :-x

You'd think the sky'd be completely empty by now :-P

Looks like it`s snowing on the planet Venus,

[At Venus's hot lower elevations lead and bismuth  (sulfide) would be vaporised and exist as a metallic mist; and on the higher hills, where it is a little cooler, the metal would condense (snow) to form a thin, highly reflective `frost` on the ground.]
