I checked my system and confirmed that mathieeesingbas.library is part of the Kickstart ROM. You said you put a version in Libs: - try getting rid of that in case it's confusing the system.

Are you sure that you've got an absolutely fresh OS install? My guess is there's still something 060 related from your previous system kicking around that's causing difficulty loading certain libs.

If you can, go back to 3.1 and build from there. There are a lot more variables with 3.9.

Matt,

100% fresh install on a different hard drive. I have a 3640 in the machine. I think my next step is to remove that and set the jumpers back to the stock onboard 030/25 and go from there. Is there anyway my 3.1 roms could have somehow become corrupted ??? I have installed dopus4 on many other machines and never once had a problem with it.

I found mathieeesingbas.library on AmiSYS4 as well... 520 bytes. Not sure why it's there though.

I made an archive from my own libs from my ClassicWB environment:
Grab them here: https://dl.dropbox.com/u/939939/mathlibs.lha

I hope they'll work for you.

Thank you for the suggestions but still no luck. mfilos I have the same libs as yours but tried yours anyway. No luck... I removed my deneb and did a fresh install yet again on a different hard drive last night. Fresh os3.9 then installed bb1 then bb2 and still the same request. I am out of options. I think one of my 3.1 roms is nackered.

As I said on EAB...
- First of all make sure you changed the jumpers on A4000 mobo from EXT to INT since you said you pulled out the CSPPC and operate with the stock 030! If you haven't changed these already, you'll have more serious issues than DOpus working :)
- Make sure you removed the previous 040/060 libraries from your libs folder.

Check these out and report back to us :)

I'm glad I helped :)
Btw you must be having MathLibsUAE installed (judging from the version number) which as I can see from the readme file, is intended for 68881/2 and need an FPU.
If you don't have an FPU... then better stick with the original library from the ROM.

Wow, glad you got it solved. I don't think I would have thought of that. Nice work, mfilos! I always thought that if the jumpers weren't set correctly the machine wouldn't even boot. Better keep that in mind next time I work on a 3000...

Thanks Matt...  I have a little note pad with all the jumper settings I have used for 030,040,060 and somehow I had that jumper wrong. I was like you and thought it wouldn't even boot if they were wrong, but that was it. 10 sec job and all with right with the world again...
