I thought most Amiga users did a compact flash to IDE adaptor method.  I don't see why you couldn't use something like this:

Maybe that model of Amiga uses 44 pins for IDE and most normal IDE is only 40 pins?

not interesting. IDE controller too weak for ssd in A600
CF or microdrive is enough

I have a 4GB 40-pin SSD in my A1200, no real need over CF but i prefer not needing the CF adapter and no extra cable, the one I use is obtainable in both 40 and 44 pin if you do not want to use an adapter. Great one and where I buy them fair price :)

Here is mine in my A1200

I use a PATA to USB adapter to work with the drive on my PC's so no more hassle then using a CF card reader.

Edit:

IDE ssd is 44 pin

There is both 40 and 44-pins PATA/IDE SSD's avaliable but doesn't matter since there is small adapters both ways. As I wrote mine is 40-pin and I have a full sized 2,5" 128GB 40-pin SSD in an old computer.

I use the little 44-pin SSD Disk On Modules that you get on eBay. They work a treat as they just plug straight onto the motherboard.... no wires, no harness, no cables, no noise. And not expensive either!

Have you done any benchmarks on them from PC? HD Tune do 44/23 MB/s (read/write) with mine, would be nice to compare it to the cheaper eBay ones.

I have one in my A1200, fits fine in A600 too

Had to scrape a little off the edge of the PCB on the modulator for it to physically fit in the A1200, but was fine without modification in the A600.
