Amiga 1200 Blizzard 1230 IV 50mzh 128MB with 50Mzh 68882 FPU
« on: November 27, 2012, 09:39:16 PM »
I have for sale an Amiga 1200 Blizzard 1230 IV 50mzh 128MB with 50mzh 68882 FPU

72 Pin Simm slot has been replaced to fit double sided 128MB 72 pin simm.

I am looking for 200 Euro + Postage + Paypal. (or open to offers)

This will not fit in the trapdoor slot of a standard Amiga 1200

It's best suited to a tower solution

Postage to Most of Europe is 12.10 Euro Insured and tracked.

Total price would be 200 + 12.50 Postage + Paypal fees  = 222 Euro

Also listed on Amiga.org

Other Alternatives.
Blizzard without FPU and 128MB, with 32 MB installed  -  145 + Postage + Paypal Fees
Blizzard with FPU and 32MB Installed - 175 + Postage + Paypal Fees
Blizzard without FPU and no ram installed  - 140 + Postage + Paypal Fees

Thanks for looking.

When you say doesn't fit, if I raised the A1200 up with higher feet would that work?

Yes the Blizzard will fit into the trapdoor slot but you can not close the trapdoor.

If you raised the Amiga 1200 that would work.

Will post pics of Blizzard installed.

I guess the trapdoor is open for most A1200 users anyway. Bliz 030 is a nice card! :)

Can this be upgraded to a 060 CPU?
If so, I'd be very much interested.

EDIT: Never mind. Confused this with a Apollo 040 for a sec.
It's, quite obviously, not upgradable.

You are correct.

you need a Blizzard 1240  or Apollo 1240 if you want to upgrade these to 060 with the clock crystal to match.

Thanks for your interest

Do not dish this card, if I was not saving to get a 060 I would have bought it myself.
