Don't mess with Texas
« on: November 19, 2012, 09:15:51 AM »
Since you all know what the difference is between a Texas Agy and a bucket of sh*t, I'll relate to you the REAL story of the creation of Texas (and Texans).

At the end of the sixth day God had just started Texas, but he was tired.
So, he took a day's rest.
And when he came back on the eight day the land was dry and cracked. Dust blew everywhere and even Lucifer himself had decided he'd rather locate elsewhere.

So God pondered the immense task of improving this place and finally said to himself,  "F*ck this!".
And he created people who liked it that way.

Don't mess with Texas (or Texans) folks, they're "special".

Is OK for Texans to listen to the Dixie Chicks again?

If you're around other Texans, only with headphones.
Unless you're in Austin, then everything's cool.:laugh1:

Austin sounds like a great city, apparently it's also a sister city with my home city of Adelaide!

When all the secession petitions were floated, Austin's residents asked if they could secede from Texas and remain part of the United States.

I love those people.

If I were a Texan living in Austin, I'd secede from Austin and remain part of Texas.

This is getting confusing.
Can a person secede from the location that they are in?

If I was to declare the state of Confederate Austin and appointed a government, why not?
Happened a few times in US history, as far as I know.

I'd, of course, legalise slavery, so I could have my own personal troop of underpaid workforce, ready to seek and repair new and used Amiga hardware whenever I tell them to.
