For those show loved the Quest for Glory series ....
« on: November 15, 2012, 04:38:33 AM »
Lori and Corey Cole are back and their kickstarter project has 5days to go and needs more pledges to reach their goal:

Quote
Hero-U is a turn-based PC RPG with adventure game puzzles and immersive story, by the award-winning designers of Quest for Glory.

As a huge fan of their work, I've signed on and I suggest everybody else who wants to play their new game does too! IMO $20 for a DRM free copy of the completed game is a great deal and the rewards for spending more only get better from there!

I took a look at the video and pictures.
But to me it just looks like any other facebook RPG.

Since I prefer RPGs to other games, I am always looking for the next game I am going to play.

It's prolly not gong to be to everyone's tatses (and it's very early days) but they've got form and some credits in the bank from the QfG series for me so i'm prepared to give them some support - if they were unknowns with no track record I'd not give them a second look. :)

They've now passed 4,650 backers and just need to raise $87K to reach the goal in 69 hours.
