Blizzard 1230 IV RTC problem
« on: November 11, 2012, 06:18:17 AM »
I just received a Blizzard 1230 IV accelerator for an A1200.  The real time clock does not seem to work at all.  After letting the computer run for about 6 hours, the battery voltage is 2.998v.  So, this is basically charged.  The problem is that I can set the time to the current day/time and SAVE it, but doing CTRL-A-A results in a reboot with the time reset to 1994.

Any ideas?

Thanks!

It's been a while but I think you need to add a "setclock load" into your startup-sequence. If that doesn't work, try "setclock reset", set the time, then "setclock save".

Thanks.  I will go look at m A3000's startup-sequence and see what it has.

Turns out that Setclock was commented out in my user-startup!
