How about PCMCIA LAN/modem cards?
« on: January 23, 2004, 05:40:35 PM »
Hi

Does anyone know if its possible to put NIC/modem combo to A1200 PCMCIA slot?

I'm asking because of this:
Polish e-bay-like site
I do not expect anyone to understand the description, but if you've been so nice to have a look at the photo, which is not as clear to read the card ID.

Anyway it's one of Etherlink III mutations...

I've found some description about working modems and NICs, but not a single word about both in the same card...

Thanks mates.  :-)

Yes you can.  You just can't use the Ethernet and Modem at the same time.  If you get the model number from the seller, check the 3c589.lha package on Aminet to see if it's compatible.
Time to move on.  Bye Amiga.org.  :(
