Retailers? Amiga Classic Hardware, Software & Parts?
« on: November 09, 2012, 11:29:48 PM »
Anyone know of or have recent experience with Amiga retailers in the U.S., or maybe Canada?

Ones that deal in classic hardware & software, as well as parts?

thanks.
Sincerely,

-- Sprocket...

yeah, they're not so much on the old stuff.

seems like all the old retailers have closed up.

Software Hut's site is still there, but they don't seem to respond to email.

Amigakit is very reliable and respected retailer that cater for both the USA and Canada.

For spare parts check out Amibay, it's a community based trading site that is a very good

way to source spare parts, a lot of members will ship worldwide.

Joe at Software Hut can be hard to reach, but he does still have stock. Bought some chips from him at few months ago.

I just wrote Joe a few days ago looking for stuff. Hope he replies. Can he be reached via a different e-mail address these days than the Softhut one?

You could always try contacting this guy;

http://www.jppbm.com/

The site is never updated, but I'm pretty sure he's still in business.
A lot of what is listed there was actually available when he was at WoC 2008, but I have no idea if that's still the case.

I just read on Yelpers that Software Hut is closed.  Is this true?  Or did he just move somewhere else?
