I created my own (local) "homepage" so that if I load up a browser when I'm not online, it doesn't spit messages at me!

The page has a selection of my favourite sites listed as links, along with a Google search bar, a currency conversion section (from xe.com) and a few weather tickers (from wunderground.com)

Very useful! :-)

I have amiga.org set as my homepage, used to be ann.lu up until a year ago. I have toyed with the idea of creating my own local homepage with google and things on like Chunder has... but I guess I will have to stick to a.o being my homepage now :-)

Google all the way, on all three PC browsers. Firebird, IE, Opera.
I used to have a links page made up by my self, but google is more useful and they change their logo from time to time wich is really funny.

Presently aimed at http://www.shiningsilence.com/dbsdlog/.

Lazy Mozilla users wanting a local homepage can just point it to bookmarks.html.

I have mine set to go to my local weather from weather.com.  With DSL at home and wired/wireless at school, I'm connected more often than not.

Back when I was using Voyager, I had it set to open to the bookmarks page, which did very nicely for a "local" homepage.  [Edit:  as Floid posted nearly simultaneously!]

I've got Opera set to start with a blank page.

Everytime I connect to the net using the BT Dialler thingumy it loads Opera and a new page with the BT homepage in it.

Mozilla starts as a search-page!

Opera starts as my Home Page, overlaid by a least three pop-ups. Though sometimes I choose Opera when selecting a LINK-URL in Email.
