Yeah, there are clueless people out there. "Vintage!  Rare!  Hard to find!   Last of its kind!  These words immediately say, "Clueless!"  Or they quote from one of the Amiga Resource sites like they know it all. There are sellers I block just because I know that they are full of it.

Ebay 99% of the time is a frustrating experience when it comes to vintage gear. Ahwell :-)

He's just proving to his wife that he *tried* to sell his vintage machines on eBay, but they didn't sell -- so he'll just have to keep them all for now.

hrmmm I like this tactic.  Perhaps not so stupid, after all!

Although, after considering this, failing to sell it might just wind it up in the trash.  Maybe not the best route.

Only the earlier ones. I have one with a Rev 5 motherboard and KS1.2 that was made here. My Rev 6 NTSC A500 with 1.3 was made in the Philippines (bought late in the game, '91 or '92). I believe all the ones with a C= key were US made as well.

I could actually see that selling for $200.
A500's are hardly rare, but availability can be scarce at times in north america.

Well it's actually for sale for $315; the wishful thinking $1,000 is for BIN.
