Thanks for the info. My motherboard revisions are 1A and 1D3. Does that mean I won't get artifacts? Or are the artifacts a seperate issue to the timing fix issue?

On a 1D4 with the timmingfix still these artifacts (with my mk1) i dont understand why some people talks about a fix by a indivision fw, if thats true, why indivision aga mk1 dont have it fixed?

Well, actually, there are two different artifacting issues. The one I'm taking about is due to the MB being sensitive to thermal changes. As far as I know, while this type is annoying, it does not actually lead to instability.

There is another blitter artifacting error that causes graphics corruption and instability. This is the timing fix you hear about that makes the 1200 more compatible with accelerator cards.

neither of these issues are caused by the Indivision but the indivision can make them more pronounced as you are simply pushing the chipset harder.

There is really no telling what fixes you'll need. Even the same MB revisions may need different fixes.

Yep to get any more speed for games we need Jens to update the firmware with some decent chunky modes (aka Graffiti).

I'm currently using the SuperPlus driver to run at 800x600 in WB in 64 colors and it seems nice and quick to me.

Many thanks for you order :)

We successfully use the Indivision with VGA converters on Samsung and various other monitors

I presume this will work nicely then! :)

Will an 80Mhz 060 do? ;)

I'm planning on doing a special 060 build of BOOM because another user has told me even his 060 struggles with Community chest 3

Indivision's Mrk2 work great with BenQ monitors via DVI, check the end of this video for a quick look at my WB -> AmiQuake
Life begins at 100 MIPS!

Nice Ports on AmiNet!

Glad to hear! With the right patches, I can get it to run fine, without them, it runs too slow, even on my 80Mhz 060. I really need to get back to my patches. I got a lot of help on that issue, but found my self busy all of a sudden.

I can help, I've got the same card as you.   I'll let you have a copy of my start-up sequence etc, just let me know.

It arrived today! Was easy to install. I forgot to order a DVI cable for my Samsung, so I used the DVI to VGA adapter for now and already it impresses the hell outta me!

And now that my DVi cable came in the mail...

...the visuals have become even MORE impressive! WOW!

The downside is that with my monitor, I can no longer adjust the screen as I could when I was using the VGA adapter. I guess we'll have to wait for proper tools and software to release from Indivision.

Well I get alot of modes nicely but NO NTSC. Its been like 8 months and Still no config tool or new core... I'm able to use HIghGfx and Superplus modes nicely no corruption. However, Highgfx may be cool but man it eats up so much chip ram its almost impractical! I'm dying for the new cores so i can run NTSC stuff as my a1200 is ntsc.

I need to try out SuperPlus again. At the moment I'm running in Multiscan Productivity mode. at 648x990.

It too eats at the chip RAM. The upside is that OctaMED S.S. has PLENTY of room for it's display now! At long last!!!

Currently, I have all my upgrades plugged into my NTSC system. Seems to me I have the most trouble running PAL WHD games, even if I reboot into PAL mode. Some work, most fail. It makes me rather sad cause I think the PAL unit needs recapped and I can't find anyone to do it in a cheap and timely manner. My last board has been out for months now, and I have an Atari that a dude has had for three years now. :/
