See, this is the part I don't get. That's it means that only gamesn and apps available through WHDLOAD can be mounted in a floppy and run?
To begin with, I have never been able to install WHDLOAD in my A12000. At least for an old rusted user like me, that installation is not so straightforward.
no, there are other ways to mount and run some games and apps. but whdload is actually easiest. provided you got enough RAM.
in the old days, many games lacked 'install to hdd' option. whdload offers 'standard' way of running games from hdd. and many of those slaves/patches allow running KS1.3/AGA fixed/.. games.
iirc, installation is not complex at all. you can do it manually by copying WHDLoad and few other utils to c:
then copy kickstarts in devs:kickstarts/ (i think)
and (optionall but highly recommended) copy reg key somewhere (iirc, S: )
