WTB: keyboard for Commodore SX-64
« on: June 26, 2012, 02:15:50 PM »
Yeah, I know it's not an Amiga, but still from the same parent company.

Anyhoo, I picked this SX-64 at a garage sale a couple of weeks ago and when I got it on the workbench found it to be working perfectly except for the keyboard which requires a LOT of patience, or a hammer, to get the keys to function.

Thought about cleaning, but the thing is just plain nasty and corroded.

I'm located in Amarillo, TX, so overseas might not be my best option due to shipping costs, unless the price is really right!

I have a complete system in excellent shape with a great keyboard, don't want to part it out.

If your interested in the whole system let me know...

I'm in the US.

Appreciate the offer, but don't need another complete system.

Still, will keep it in mind just in case.

@RobertB

Thanks for the link!

He's got an article on cleaning the SX64 keyboard, so I think I'll try that first, but will still keep my eye out for a replacement, just in case...
